For some time I have wanted to read the Bible through the eyes of the women found there but in a chronological way so I began to look online for a reading schedule. I found many sites that shared a list of women in the Bible but none offered an actual plan. So I created my own! I wanted it to include not just women that are well known such as Sarah, Ruth or Mary but those who are not a familiar such as Puah and Shiphrah, the Hebrew midwives who withstood Pharaoh, or Jeroboam's wife who went to see the prophet on behalf of her sick child. I also wanted to include some character traits that are listed in the Bible for women such as the Proverbs 31 woman and the lists found in Titus and I Peter. Each day I plan on reading a few verses each day as I make my way through the Old Testament and into the New Testament. I have created the first list for the month of January with the others soon to follow. If you would like to join me all you need to do is download the pdf below and as always feel free to share! I pray that this journey is an encouragement to all as we dig deeper into these women of the Bible and what God wants us to learn from them.
