I hope this brings a smile to your face...it does mine every time I read it!! ![]() A lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address! A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email. Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read: To: My Loving Wife Subject: I've arrived I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in. I've seen that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!!!! Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was. P.S. It's awfully hot down here!!!!

![]() What would you do if one day the person you fell in love with no longer remembered who you were? This is the question that is answered in this amazing story....though I must confess I would not watch the movie I would encourage you to read their book ~ "The Vow" by Kim and Krickitt Carpenter. Theirs is a story of true commitment in a world filled with relationship breakups. They are truly an inspiring couple. I have included a short video that gives some of the details of them. Their book is definitely worth reading! Please feel free to pass it along! The little things....
~ The head of a company survived 9/11 because his some started kindergarten. ~ Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. ~ One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time. ~ One was late because of being stuck on the NJ turnpike because of an auto accident. ~One missed his bus ~ A lady spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change. ~Another person's car would not start. ~One couldn't get a taxi ~Here's one that might strike you; a man put on a new pair of shoes that fateful morning, took the various means to get to work but developed a blister on his foot before he arrived and had to stop at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today. Perhaps when the little annoyances of life come our way it would be good to pause and remember these...they saved a life! |

Sarah GraceI am just an ordinary girl who is loved by an extraordinary God and I seek to love others the same way. I love to bake, read, do puzzles, watch Hallmark movies, and go shopping with my mom! This blog was created as a place where I could share some thoughts that the Lord has shown me and to be an encouragement to others who desire to know Him in a deeper way. My prayer is to learn to sit still and trust God with my future. Archives
