The third edition of the Sit Still my Daughter magazine has arrived and there are so many wonderful stories tucked between it's covers. March, April, and May provide us with a variety of topics to cover. As always, our goal is to always point you back to God, to remind you that you are not alone but there are others who have gone through a similar season as you but God was faithful and He will continue to be. If you want to know God better and learn from the wisdom of other women who have walked a similar path then this magazine is for you.
In this 120 page issue, you will find these stories and more:

  • Hannah, a woman who let go: She longed for a son, she made a vow to God that if He would grant her request she would give him back to the Lord. While we love this story, have you ever thought about how hard that would be? To release something you had longed for your whole life? Dive deep into her story and the lessons she has to teach us.
  • Ivy and the Sparrow: Robin's parents started their own jewelry business not knowing their daughter would inherit their creativity and talent leading her to follow in their footsteps.
  • Children and Divorce: As unpleasant as it is, divorce happens and children are often left with unresolved feelings that can effect them later in life. Sarah Geringer shares her own experience and how you as a single mom can help your child through this difficult season.
  • Season of Waiting: Being a missionary is a very rewarding calling but what happens when God closes the door to your mission field and you are in a holding pattern? Michele tells her story of waiting.
  • In New York City: Debbie enjoyed a exciting and fulfilling career on broadway thinking that her dream of being a wife would remain just that but God had other plans.
  • From Brokenness to Joy: Dolls that are broken and thrown away by others are found, given extra love, and restored so they can bring joy to little girls. All of this done by a girl of 12 herself!
  • Persevering through the Pain: after suffering five miscarriages, Michelle struggled to remember how much God did love her.
  • For the Love of Mother: Her mother spent her whole life caring for her and when the time came for the roles to be reversed, her daughter counted it a privilege.
  • Savor the Season: Ever wondered why it is important to eat what's in season? Find out and get some amazing recipes to try in your home.

There is much more inside this issue including home decor tips, self-care, book reviews, a tribute to mothers, time management tips, and a three month Bible reading plan.

This magazine is also available for local pick-up in Greenville, SC and Shelby, NC.
