Dancing before the Lord unashamed & unapologetic: life lessons from king David and Michal.
Michal, the daughter of Saul and the first wife of King David. Her story begins almost like a fairy tale, she falls in love with a handsome and brave shepherd boy but their social status makes it hard to be together, but love conquers all and they are married. Sadly their story did not end as the fairy tales, with a happily ever after, it would end in tragedy and sorrow. Read more about what we can learn from the final part in their tale.

Free Bible Study Plans
Are you looking for some new Bible reading plans? If so, I have two options for you. One is reading through the women of the Bible in one year. It includes some of the forgotten women such as Shiphrah and Puah, the two Hebrew midwives who stood against Pharaoh when he wanted to kill all the Hebrew male babies, and then there is Jehosheba who hid baby Joash from his wicked grandmother when she ordered to have him killed. This is a great plan if you want to learn more about the many women found in the Bible.
I also created one that will take you through the prayers of the Bible in one year. It includes the well known ones from Abraham and Jabez but also many of the psalms. The Bible has a lot to say about prayer and it is encouraging to hear mankind has prayed to God, straight from their hearts to God's ear.

Be still and know
Our country is facing very difficult times, the CoronaVirus is causing a lot of fear and anxiety to run rampant. Plans have been changed, and routines have been disrupted. The term "Be still" is currently flooding social media as many are trying to calm the masses but what does the term really mean and how often is it used in Scripture? In my newest blog, I take three verses and unpack them. We are in the midst of not only a pandemic but an opportunity to show what it means to trust God in the middle of uncertainty. Find out more about this term and what it means for us as believers.
