So often we fall into the idea that we, by ourselves, can't make a difference. Here is a simple poem that deals with this topic. I hope that it is a blessing to you! Just one
The city was in an uproar it's residents distressed The enemy had them completely surrounded pressing in with haste. What do we do now?" asked one "We are doomed!" wailed another "Wait," someone cried, "call the wise woman She'll know what to do." True to her reputation she soon found the source of the fierce mob's anger. In her wisdom she appeased the wrath of Joab and in so doing delivered her beloved city of Abel One made a difference The earth cried out for justice as wickedness abounded among its inhabitants Still there was one who refused to sink into the mire of sin. He caught the eye of God, found grace and received protection. Although others refused to heed the repeated warning, Noah could be comforted in the knowledge that he was responsible for the saving of his house. One made a difference It was evident to her that they were strangers yet unlike any she had ever known. They were worshipers of the one true God. It was He who had answered the cry of her soul, He whom she longed to know deeper. For this she hid the men till it was safe to send them away to their own place of refuge. The salvation of her home and relatives was Rahab's reward. She would also be given a special part in the redemption of the world One made a difference Down through the ages the story of one making a difference has left a definite mark behind. May my prayer remain "Lord, let me be one." ~Grace

Sarah GraceI am just an ordinary girl who is loved by an extraordinary God and I seek to love others the same way. I love to bake, read, do puzzles, watch Hallmark movies, and go shopping with my mom! This blog was created as a place where I could share some thoughts that the Lord has shown me and to be an encouragement to others who desire to know Him in a deeper way. My prayer is to learn to sit still and trust God with my future. Archives
