New Online Bible Study!

Sit Still my Daughter is excited to begin a new online Bible study on the book: "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanna Weaver.
Our first online gathering will be Thursday, March 26, 2026 via Zoom at 7 pm eastern time. We will meet once a month and make our way through one chapter at a time. Some of the things we will discuss include:

• The cause for feeling burned out and overwhelmed.
• The necessity of the quiet time
• Learning to balance work and worship
• Having a teachable spirit

Make plans to join us for our monthly Bible/book study via Zoom. Our next gathering is Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 7 pm EST. We are studying the book "Adorned" by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth which dives deep into the Titus 2 woman mentioned in Titus 2:3-5. This is not a race to complete the study in a certain amount of time because I do not want us to feel rushed or hurried. My desire is to gather together once a month and just unpack the truths of these incredible verses so that we can be better equipped to help one another and live out the Gospel in our daily interactions with others.
Some of the topics will include:

• Don't give up on the modeling career - aging beautifully and just what maturity in Christ looks like in the life of a believer.
• Revival of Reverence: Living in Sacred Service - what does it mean to have reverent behavior.
• You don't say: Abstaining from slander - why do women struggle with having a sharp tongue so often.
• A "Sophron" state of mind: Developing self-control - why it matters and how it impacts every facet of our life.
